Determined to help, the team carefully captured him using a net and brought him to their rescue center. There, his journey to recovery began with something simple but powerful—food, water, and a safe place to rest.
His caregivers also provided medicated baths to treat the mange, a painful skin disease caused by tiny mites that often affects stray animals in urban areas.
At first, he remained withdrawn, unsure of the kindness being shown to him. But as the days passed, small changes became noticeable—his coat started growing back, and he became more comfortable around people.
By the six-week mark, the transformation was astonishing. No longer the fearful, frail dog found on the streets, he now had a thick, healthy coat and an energetic spirit.
He played joyfully with other dogs at the rescue center and even showed affection toward his caregivers, a sign that he had not only healed physically but also regained trust in humans.
