A tense confrontation turned violent after a man laid hands on a female police officer during an arrest attempt — and things escalated fast.
Witnesses say the officer was trying to place the suspect in handcuffs when he suddenly pushed her, triggering an immediate reaction from another officer on scene. The backup officer tackled the man to the ground and restrained him as the female officer regained her footing.
Bystanders can be heard shouting in disbelief as the scene unfolded. Despite the chaos, police managed to subdue the suspect without further injuries being reported.
