Trapped Dog Shivers All Night in Heavy Snowstorm Until Hero Hears Her Cries
Angel, a courageous animal officer, became a hero during a snowstorm when she rescued a shivering dog left in a crate on a freezing sidewalk. An elderly man heard the dog barking at night and called for help. Despite frozen shelter gates and icy roads, Angel braved the dangerous conditions to reach the dog.
When she arrived, the dog was shivering but wagged her tail in joy upon seeing Angel. Wrapped in towels, the dog was warmed in Angel’s car, safe at last. The elderly man was deeply moved when he learned the dog was safe, believing it was fate that woke him up to call for help.
Angel, already working for nearly 24 hours, didn’t hesitate to help. She shared how essential their work was, no matter the conditions. Thanks to her and the entire Animal Services team’s dedication, the dog is now safe and cared for at the shelter.
Blair, the dog, is available for adoption through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue and would thrive in a home with another dog.
