A man spotted a pregnant pitbull wandering near his home and contacted Hope For Paws for help. The rescue team arrived quickly, and the friendly dog, later named Waffles, walked right up to them, trusting them completely.
At the rescue center, Waffles received care and an ultrasound, which showed she would give birth soon. A volunteer took her home to rest, and that very night—on Mother’s Day—Waffles gave birth to healthy puppies.
Thanks to Hope For Paws, Waffles and her babies now have a safe and loving place to call home.
