Police officer adopts Germaո Shepherd he fouոd duriոg trespassiոg call

Officer Daniel Caramello of Rancho Cordova, California, was responding to a trespassing call when he met a stray black German Shepherd named Ronin. Though initially believed to belong to a nearby business, no owner came forward, and Ronin had no microchip.

As Caramello searched for Ronin’s home, he bonded with the gentle dog and was surprised no one claimed him. “Something clicked with Ronin for me. I just fell in love with him from the start,” he said.

So, the officer adopted Ronin himself. Though the dog was nervous at first—and Caramello’s daughter was afraid of dogs—they quickly bonded, and now Ronin is a beloved part of the family.

Caramello says Ronin is always waiting to greet him at the door, calling him “a wonderful companion.” Thanks to Officer Caramello, Ronin now has the loving home he deserves.
