When rescuers first found Kevin, it was immediately clear he was in trouble. His legs were badly deformed, leaving him barely able to walk. “The vets weren’t sure if [his legs] will ever go back to normal, but we had to try,” said Desi from Bali Paws.

His condition was painful, but he never stopped wagging his tail, as if signaling to everyone that he hadn’t given up. “It must have been really painful for him, but nevertheless, his little tail was just always wagging,” Desi recalled.
