Elizabeth Montgomery, best known for her role as Samantha Stephens on Bewitched, captivated audiences with her natural beauty and unique talent. Born in 1933 to Broadway actress Elizabeth and actor Robert Montgomery, acting was in her blood. She made her TV debut on her father’s show Robert Montgomery Presents and later appeared in Broadway plays and films, including The Court-Martial of Billy Mitchell.
Montgomery’s personal life involved several marriages, including her first to Frederick Gallatin Cammann in 1954, which ended in divorce, and to actor Gig Young, which also ended in 1963. She then married director William Asher in 1963, with whom she had three children.
