Woman Picks Up Dog From Daycare — Then Notices Something’s Not Quite Right

Reddit user Katybugfoster regularly drops off her black Lab, Angus, at doggy daycare. One day, after picking him up, something felt off. Though the dog was happy and behaved normally, once home, he began sniffing everyone and acting unfamiliar with the house.

Concerned, Katybugfoster checked for Angus’s chipped tooth — but it wasn’t there. She realized this wasn’t her dog.

Back at daycare, staff confirmed the mix-up. The dog, named Billy, looked nearly identical to Angus and had even been given Angus’s collar by mistake. Thankfully, the error was harmless, everyone had a laugh, and Angus was safely reunited with his family.
