K-9 Officer Buddy served faithfully for years with the Fair Oaks Ranch Police Department in Texas, using his skills to track evidence and protect his team. When it came time for his retirement last month, his colleagues gave him a heartwarming sendoff.
Knowing Buddy’s love for playing with balls, they surprised him with a shower of them after one final evidence detection test. The joyful moment made the seasoned officer look like a puppy again.
Now retired, Buddy is enjoying a peaceful life on Officer Magness’ family farm — with soft beds, long naps, and plenty of belly rubs.
