A 32-year-old woman was attacked by a polar bear after she jumped into their enclosure at the Berlin zoo

A 32-year-old woman named Mandy K. suffered serious injuries after jumping into a polar bear enclosure at the Berlin Zoo. In a shocking and dangerous act, she climbed over multiple barriers — including a fence, hedges, and a wall — and entered the enclosure during feeding time.

One of the bears quickly attacked, leaving her with deep bite wounds on her arm, leg, and back. Fortunately, a zoo employee managed to intervene and scare the bear away, saving her life.

Mandy was rushed to the hospital with severe injuries. Authorities later revealed she had been struggling emotionally after being unable to find a job. The incident serves as a tragic reminder of the importance of mental health support and the dangers of crossing safety barriers around wild animals.
