Driver Stumbles Across Group Of Stray Kittens Finding Warmth In Unlikely Place
Recently, volunteers from The Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership (ARPO) got a heartbreaking call about a small feline family in need in Indianapolis, Indiana.
With winter setting in, rescuers were especially worried about baby animals freezing. So when they heard about five kittens struggling to stay warm, they rushed to help.
To their surprise, the kittens were surviving by cuddling on the hood of an old car for warmth, with their mother nearby.
ARPO quickly rescued the kittens and their mom, securing a foster home. While arranging transport, they got word of another kitten found alone on a nearby porch. His family had wandered off without him.
Thankfully, the rescued mom and her kittens welcomed the orphaned baby into their group without hesitation.
