Cops Try ‘Hilarious’ Method To Lure Bobcat Out Of Woman’s Living Room
One night in Colorado, Amy Shelly left her door unlatched so her cat, Meatball, could come inside. He did—but later, an unexpected guest arrived too: a bobcat.
Amy woke at 4 a.m. to crashing sounds and found the wild animal perched on a living room shelf. She called for help, and deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office responded.
Without proper tools, the deputies humorously tried using laser pointers to lure the bobcat out, saying, “Cats are all the same.” But the bobcat wasn’t interested.
Eventually, Colorado Parks and Wildlife advised simply leaving the door open. Four hours later, the bobcat left on its own. Meatball was completely fine.
