Dog Who Looked Like A ‘Pile Of Rags’ Makes The Most Incredible Transformation
While walking along a canal, a man spotted what he thought was a pile of old rags by a bench—only to realize it was a severely matted, motionless dog.
The dog, later named Morris, was so tangled in fur and weak that he couldn’t move. The man took him home and then to a vet, who transferred him to the RSPCA.
Morris was blind in one eye and had cataracts in the other, likely contributing to his immobility. The RSPCA shaved off 1.3 kg of matted fur—10% of his body weight—bringing him immediate relief.
With care and love, Morris began to heal and transform. A few months later, he was healthy enough to be adopted—and soon found his perfect forever home.
