The Pennsylvania SPCA (PSPCA) rushed to help after police reported three dogs living in poor conditions. When rescuers arrived, they found Bam, Beau, and Brenda chained to rundown wooden shelters with empty food and water bowls.
Bam and Beau were in the worst shape and were taken to the shelter’s hospital for treatment and refeeding. Brenda, though healthier, also received care.
Now in safe hands, the dogs are starting to relax. Bam remains in the hospital as he continues to heal. PSPCA staff are giving him time to recover and feel safe, hoping his true personality will emerge in the coming weeks.
