Golfers Abandon Game When They See A Furry-Someone Stranded In Creek
A peaceful day of golf in Garland, Texas took an unexpected turn when players at Fire Wheel Golf Course spotted a dog stranded at the edge of Rowlett Creekโsurrounded by water and a steep rock wall, with no way to escape.
Concerned golfers called Garland Animal Services, who quickly arrived with the Garland Fire Department. A firefighter bravely crossed the creek, gently coaxed the scared pup, and eventually carried him to safety.
Thankfully, the dog, named Bubba, was wearing a collar with his owner’s info. His grateful owner, Joan Landry, had been searching for him for over two days.
