I gently picked him up and rushed to the nearest veterinary hospital, whispering comforting words along the way. The vet team immediately began treatment, and I stayed by his side through it all.
Day by day, the dog’s condition improved. His wounds healed, and his spirit returned. Watching him recover filled me with gratitude and joy.
When he was well again, I brought him home and named him Lucky—because he was lucky to be rescued, and I was lucky to find him.
