Many street dogs choose to isolate themselves before coming into contact with people . The reason? They are victims of such severe and profound abuse that they become nervous and distrustful creatures.

Hope for Paws volunteers learned about the dog’s existence, so they decided to go after her and give her a second chance .
What the volunteers didn’t know about the little animal was the fear it aroused towards men.

This led them to conclude that the person responsible for her trauma may have been a cruel individual. The pit bull’s resistance to men was no reason to sit back, and they decided to give it a try.

Eldad decided to go a little further and began petting the dog’s head. At first, she was afraid of his affection and closeness, but little by little, she gave in to his love and even let him put a leash around her neck . Everything seemed to indicate that this day would be the big day.

They were happy to have made this breakthrough. They took the dog with them, named her Nala, and set her on her new life . Despite some ailments associated with abandonment on the streets, such as fleas and nutritional problems, the pit bull’s health was quite good.

Nala was assigned to a temporary foster home while a new family arrives. Fortunately, this little dog went from being in a ditch in the middle of a huge city to a place full of love and care where she could regain her trust in humans.
