It’s hard to put into words how heartbroken two dogs felt after being cruelly abandoned in the Utah desert without food or shelter.
Since they were locked in a cage, all they could do was look around the desolate area and hope to see someone approaching them.
Fortunately, some hikers happened upon the harrowing scene and rushed to the dogs’ aid. They were stunned to find them alone in the desert, crammed into a cage and exposed to the elements.
As the hikers approached them, the dogs looked at them with confused expressions on their faces.
Since they had no information about the dogs or the person who abandoned them in the Utah desert, they asked anyone with relevant information to contact them.
Hurricane resident Andrea Kaz, known for her animal advocacy, was devastated to learn of the horrific incident. She had heard of similar cases of abandonment before and hoped people would stop abandoning their pets.
