A man found two tiny puppies abandoned and nearly frozen in a box on an empty lot. He rushed them to KC Pet Project, where staff worked tirelessly to warm and hydrate the pups. Though their survival was uncertain at first, the puppies recovered well, began eating, and were placed in a foster home. The man who found them is interested in adopting one. The rescue hopes the puppies will soon find loving forever homes and never face such cruelty again.
