Husband Pretends to Be Infertile for 40 Years So His Wife Won’t Know She Can’t Have Kids — Story of the Day

Andrew spent years hiding a mistake he made as a teenager, which led to his wife Nina’s infertility. Later, Andrew learned that the pills caused Nina to become infertile. Fearing Nina would blame herself, Andrew pretended to be infertile and never told her the truth.

Years later, after multiple failed attempts to conceive, Andrew and Nina adopted Louise. Despite the lie, Louise’s discovery forces Andrew to reveal everything. The story ends with Louise, angry and heartbroken, destroying one of Andrew’s mother’s diplomas, before leaving the house for good.
