In Callao, Peru, near Lima, animal rescuer Sarita Saume exposed the mistreatment of a dog chained outside a house with no space to move or even sit comfortably. The dog was left in harsh weather, with no walks or care, as seen in a video Sarita shared on TikTok.

Outraged by the cruelty, Sarita urged her followers to share the video to pressure authorities and raise awareness. “This dog is chained 24/7, he can barely stand, and doesn’t even have a rag to sit on,” she wrote. She also called on Peruvian animal protection organizations to take action, highlighting the importance of speaking up for animals who suffer in silence.
