Max Fox waited 19 years for this moment. After shooting his shot and asking Simon for the chance to audition (whilst sitting in the audience!), the local singer seized the moment and blew the Judges away with his performance of ‘My Way’ – bagging himself Amanda’s Second Golden Buzzer!
Max Fox, 35, who was sitting just three seats away from the judges, seized a chance during the final round of auditions in Blackpool. He called Simon Cowell and told him that he had been wanting to be on the show since he was sixteen years old.
After being moved by Fox’s appeal, Cowell invited him to the stage, where he captivated the judges and audience with a dramatic rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “My Way.” He was sent directly to the live semi-finals after Amanda Holden handed him her second Golden Buzzer of the season, which made him extremely happy.
Max Fox, who started the evening as an audience member, received a Golden Buzzer for his spontaneous performance, which is the first in the history of Britain’s Got Talent. All eyes will be on Fox as the live semi-finals draw near to see if his unexpected journey can hold the country’s attention.
