Mom and Her Puppy Wandered Beside the Road, Severe Emaciated, Crying Begging People for Help! BUT NO ONE HELP HER…..
While driving along a quiet road, we stumbled upon a heartbreaking sight—a mother dog and her puppy wandering aimlessly beside a drainage pipe. The scene was painfully familiar: both were severely emaciated, their bodies nothing but skin and bones. The little puppy was struggling, too weak to even walk properly. The mother, clearly exhausted and starved, was crying, almost begging anyone who would listen for help. Sadly, no one stopped. No one helped.
We couldn’t ignore their cries for help. We rushed to them and gave them a loaf of bread, hoping to give them some comfort. The puppy eagerly devoured half of it, its tiny body desperate for nourishment. The mother, though, could hardly eat, her condition so severe that it was clear she hadn’t had anything in a long time. The sight of them—starving, exhausted, and abandoned—was too much to bear. We didn’t know how long they had been suffering, but it was clear that time was running out.
After giving them what little we could, we searched the area for any other puppies. Sadly, we found no other signs of life. They were the only survivors. Perhaps the others had succumbed to the same fate—starved and alone. The thought of it brought tears to our eyes, but we knew we had to act fast. The mother’s sorrow was palpable, her cries echoing in the stillness of the night. We did everything we could to calm her, reassuring her that she and her puppy would not be abandoned any longer.
The night was difficult. The mother cried in her cage, unable to understand the safety we were offering her. The puppy, though, seemed to sense the change in their situation. It was a long night, but as morning came, we were able to give them some milk to nourish them. Slowly, they were stabilizing, and the immediate threat of hunger and thirst was no longer their primary concern.
However, their road to recovery was far from over. The mother, now named Jackfruit, and her puppy had both suffered from severe malnutrition, dehydration, and blood infections. We rushed them to the vet that evening for further evaluation. The blood tests revealed troubling results: Jackfruit had extremely low blood platelets, signs of leukemia, and infections. Her puppy, too, was in poor health, with a dangerously low blood count and similar symptoms. Both were covered in fleas and had severe blood clots, indicating just how dire their condition was.
As heartbreaking as their situation was, we knew that the journey to recovery would be long. Their bodies were fragile, and they needed to be treated with care. We began by giving them easy-to-digest food, as their stomachs couldn’t handle anything too heavy. It was a delicate balance—feeding them enough to survive without overwhelming their fragile systems. Slowly, day by day, they began to show signs of improvement.
Now the mother Jackfruit and her baby are taking care of themselves to get 3 hormone stimulants, Jackfruit mother also kisses and licks her baby periodically. Always shows love and care. The moment they bring them together, I feel happy when I see it. I can’t express it.
All these days that I stand here, it’s just because of this. I just want to help. We want to see every suffering life get better. No suffering, no difficulty. All lives get better.
The blood result has improved. The blood test criteria is getting better. The doctor gave mom continuous nourishing medicine and stimulating supplements. How happy she is now in full care and love!
