Rescue Team Commits to Improving Life of Distressed Dog Battling Severe Seizures
Earlier today, a distressed dog was discovered on the roadside, prompting concern from passersby who kept their distance due to its alarming condition. The dog appeared to be gravely ill, exhibiting continuous spasms and signs of severe discomfort.
It lay on the ground twitching, its mouth opening and closing as if gasping for relief. The poor animal was unable to control its bladder, and its fur was infested with dirt and fleas.
Moved by its plight, we decided to take the dog to a veterinary hospital for an examination. What we discovered there was truly unexpected. Even while on the examination table, the dog continued to convulse, clearly exhausted and in pain.

The veterinarian estimated the dog to be about two to three years old. Sadly, its ears were infested with ticks, and its body was crawling with lice and other parasites, suggesting it had been wandering unattended for quite some time.
Blood tests revealed that the dog’s seizures were irreversible. The root of the problem lay in past injuries that were never treated, compounded by a severe case of canine fever that had caused significant nerve damage.

As a result, the dog had lost control over its central nervous system. While there is currently no cure, medications can help manage the symptoms by reducing the frequency and intensity of the seizures.
Despite this prognosis, we are wholeheartedly committed to providing this dog with a loving and supportive environment.

The rescue team is dedicated to accompanying him on his challenging path to recovery, doing everything within our power to improve his quality of life.
