The Animal Rescue League at Brewster Animal Care and Adoption Center in Boston promptly took action after learning about his plight.
A local resident in Barnstable’s Mariner Circle noticed the dog and immediately contacted Animal Control. The dog was then transported to the rescue organization for care, as reported by NBC Boston.The shelter staff named the dog Limited Man. They believe he was abandoned because of his poor health, lack of street survival skills, and neglected fur.
Despite a week-long wait, no one stepped forward to claim him. As a result, the shelter proceeded with veterinary examinations and began his recovery process to prepare him for adoption.Since being in the care of the shelter, Limited Man has started gaining weight and winning the hearts of his caregivers. They are working diligently to get him healthy so he can soon find a loving home.
“He is incredibly friendly, loves attention, and has good manners,” noted the shelter staff.
