A microchip revealed the truth: Nate had come from a lab where he endured months of cruel testing. Once he was deemed “psychologically disturbed,” the lab dumped him without care.
The shelter contacted Beagle Freedom Project, and together, they found a foster mom who was ready to help Nate heal. Through months of patient rehab, she slowly brought him back to life.
Now, Nate smiles again and is ready for a forever home. Though he looks like a normal dog, to his foster mom, he’ll always be a brave survivor.
