She used a rollator to show kindness to her neighbor
Elderly Woman Walks Six Blocks With a Rollator Just to Deliver Kindness
At 5 p.m., I spotted my elderly neighbor, Miss Inez, slowly making her way down the street with two heavy grocery bags hanging from her rollator. When I offered help, she smiled and said, “I’m bringing warm food to the Mitchell boy. His mom’s sick, and he’s been alone.”
She could barely walk, yet was determined to help someone else. Inside one bag was a container of soup with a note taped on top:
“You are important.”
We reached the boy’s home together. He looked frail but lit up at her kindness. Word of Miss Inez’s selfless act quickly spread, inspiring neighbors to help the boy—and her.
Sometimes, a small act of love is enough to bring an entire community together.
Kindness is contagious. Pass it on.
