A stray dog, once suffering from a large tumor, has found a new lease on life after receiving much-needed medical care.
According to the YouTube channel The GoGo, the Animal Kingdom Foundation was alerted to the dog’s plight and acted quickly to rescue her.
The dog, aptly named Hope, was brought to a clinic where veterinarians assessed her condition and began treatment with antibiotics.
After careful observation lasting over a week, the medical team determined that surgery was essential to remove the 2.6-kilogram tumor.
The surgical procedure was lengthy, lasting more than three hours. Following the operation, Hope received round-the-clock care to ensure her recovery.
Remarkably, just one week post-surgery, she began to show significant improvement, displaying a newfound zest for life by running, jumping, and playing.
“We’re thrilled to see her eat well and regain her strength so quickly,” said a spokesperson from the recovery team. “Hope extends her gratitude to everyone who supported her through this difficult journey.”
Now, two months later, Hope is in high spirits and thriving in her new home with a loving family, marking a heartwarming conclusion to what began as a distressing situation.
