Deuce, a one-and-a-half-year-old pup, was taken in by the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast in Florida after being abandoned. Though loved by the staff, he longed for a forever home. Two months later, he was adopted, but his happiness was short-lived—his new owner had to return him due to health issues.

Back at the shelter, Deuce stayed hopeful, always watching for visitors and placing his paw on the kennel door, hoping for another chance. While sweet and calm in his kennel, Deuce becomes full of energy outside, but many potential adopters pass him by, unwilling to commit to his training needs.
