A confrontation between an anti-ICE activist and federal agents quickly escalated in Salem, Oregon, after a woman intentionally blocked an ICE vehicle at a red light.
According to the woman’s own social media post, she claimed she “stopped them” because she believed the agents were “taking her people.” Witnesses say the woman refused to move her car and began shouting at the officers.
Video footage shows ICE agents stepping out and ordering her to back away. One of the agents briefly drew his firearm as a precaution when the woman continued approaching their vehicle, ignoring repeated commands.
The standoff lasted only a few moments before the woman backed off, and no one was injured. ICE later confirmed the agents were conducting a lawful operation and that the woman had interfered with an active enforcement stop.
The video has since gone viral, sparking fierce debate online — with some criticizing the woman’s actions as reckless and dangerous, while others question the agents’ response.
