Victims in fatal love triangle shooting identified, suspect revealed as uncle to victim
SAN ANTONIO – An arrest affidavit reveals the man who fatally shot his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend outside a Southside H-E-B was the new boyfriend’s uncle.
The shooting occurred just before 11 p.m., just outside an H-E-B located off of South New Braunfels Street on Sunday night.
Investigators said an argument broke out between the three individuals, escalating into gunfire.
When San Antonio Police arrived on the scene, they found both victims, Beatriz Guzman, 41, and Jeronimo Aleman Ramirez, 31, suffering from gunshot wounds. They were pronounced dead at the scene.
Police have identified the suspect as 49-year-old Lorenzo Aleman, who is believed to have been involved in a romantic relationship with Guzman and is the uncle of Aleman Ramirez.
Investigators say Aleman shot his nephew and ex-girlfriend in a fit of jealousy during the meeting.
